How to Maintain Laser Marking Machines During Summer Heat Waves

1. Generally, laser marking machines operate best at around 30°C. If ambient temperatures exceed this threshold due to weather conditions, intervention is required to cool the equipment. This can be achieved by operating the machine in an air-conditioned room or by turning off the power switch and allowing the machine to cool down naturally for a period.

2. Laser marking machines come in two types: air-cooled and water-cooled. For air-cooled models, regularly clean the dust filter screens. For water-cooled models, periodically replace the cooling water.

3. IPG laser marking machine overheating: Due to environmental conditions and weather, the laser's heat dissipation may be compromised, causing internal temperatures to rise and preventing normal operation. This results in the software displaying “IPG laser marking machine overheating.” Control card damage may occur, leading to overheating and various alerts. Therefore, replacing the control card is recommended.
