Automatic Edge-Finding Cutting Process for Fiber Laser Cutting Machines

After activating the automatic edge-finding function, the cutting head starts from a designated point. It then automatically measures several points on both perpendicular edges of the sheet. Based on these measurements, it calculates the sheet's tilt angle and origin point, enabling the completion of the cutting task. As is well known, workpieces on the worktable can weigh hundreds of kilograms, making their adjustment and movement far from easy.
