Safety Precautions for Using Tor Laser Cutting Machines
1. Adhere to safety operating procedures and strictly follow the laser startup sequence when activating the laser cutting machine;
2. Operators must undergo professional training, familiarize themselves with the equipment's structure, performance, operational procedures, and control panel;
3. Wear all required protective gear as specified when operating the machine. Avoid laser eye injury by wearing safety goggles during operation;
4. Exercise caution with certain materials. Do not process materials without first confirming their suitability for laser cutting to prevent toxic fumes and potential hazards;
5. Operators must not leave their workstations or delegate supervision without authorization while the equipment is running. Power off or shut down the machine;
6. Fire extinguishers must be placed within easy reach. After processing, turn off the laser or close the beam shutter;
7. Keep the machine work area clear of flammable items like paper or fabric to prevent fires;
8. Operators must be prepared to respond to emergencies. Immediately stop the machine if abnormalities occur during processing, troubleshoot promptly, or report for maintenance;
9. Inspect the equipment before and after laser cutter use to ensure the surrounding environment and the machine itself are safe and compliant, facilitating proper operation;
10. When using gas cylinders, avoid crushing welding cables to prevent electrical leakage. Cylinder usage and transportation must comply with cylinder inspection regulations. Cylinders should be shielded from direct sunlight and kept away from fire sources. Operators must stand to the side of the nozzle during activation to prevent accidents;
11. Strictly adhere to high-voltage safety protocols during equipment maintenance;
12. After startup, manually move the machine tool at low speed in the X and Y directions to inspect for abnormalities;
13. After inputting a new workpiece program, conduct a test run and verify its operational status;
14. During operation, monitor the machine's stability. Pre-check that the machine is securely fixed to prevent slippage or collisions;
15. Equipment must undergo regular maintenance. Daily, weekly, monthly, and semi-annual maintenance and servicing of varying scopes should be performed.
