How many modes does the laser cleaning machine have?

Laser rust removal, also known as laser cleaning, relies on the characteristics of light pulses generated by lasers. It is based on photophysical reactions resulting from the interaction between high-intensity beams, short-pulse lasers, and the contaminant layer. The physical principles can be summarized as follows:

1. The laser beam emitted by the laser is absorbed by the contaminant layer on the surface to be treated;

2. High-energy absorption creates rapidly expanding plasma (highly ionized unstable gas), generating shock waves;

3. Shock waves fragment contaminants and dislodge them;

4. Pulse width must be sufficiently short to prevent thermal accumulation damaging the treated surface;

5. Experiments show plasma forms on metal surfaces when oxides are present.

Therefore, laser rust removal can be used not only to clean organic contaminants but also inorganic ones, including metal rust, metal particles, and dust. It features non-abrasive, non-contact, and no-thermal-effect characteristics, making it a reliable and effective rust removal method. Additionally, laser rust removal can solve problems that traditional cleaning methods cannot address.
